  • Small precision, it needs to be spelled Six Apart, and not SixAppart. Apart (hihi) from that, confidentiality requires me not to comment the LJ sale. However, when there's a seller, there's often a buyer, which indicates that this market is still attractive.
  • Of course! There is always a buyer... and in the LJ case, it's also interesting to see that the buyer is actually in a country fro which the growth in teen blogging platforms outperforms the US one!
And finally, a mature market IS attractive : it just requires different management strategies and choices than a fast-growing market!
  • You're right: this is the right moment to sell those platforms. If I were a video games publisher, I would study that kind of acquisition in order to create a video games community for my own games, especially for online video games, both causual Flash games and time-consuming MMOs. Youg people can spend a couple bucks a month to play "my little tiny rabbit", "i wanna be a superstar" or other "the sims online". The only requirement is to make all financial transactions made possible using cell phones and other young-people related cash solutions.
  • Ralphy : thereare definetely plenty of synergies between ten platforms and casual gaming sites...
  • Gaming industry and especially casual flash games has become a huge industry. The economic crash hasn't affected this industry.
  • Owh the gaming industry, and flash industry, I very very like it
  • Thanks for the information. Keep up the good work. In relation to public awareness, the demand for unsecured personal loans is at an all time high. Unsecured personal loans are loans made without the backing of collateral. Your average bank won't make them, definitely not during times like these. There are other options, though, for those who don't want to go to a normal lending institution where they know they'll be turned down. You can get unsecured personal loans through payday loan companies. If you just need a cash advance loan, you can apply for an unsecured personal loan. The best ways to survive in this time of recession it to minimize unwanted expenses, and try to budget your income so you wouldn’t depend more to many kinds of loans and payday cashes not unless you really need it.
  • The information you posted is very informative. In relation with that, the demand of loans is very high. Because there are people who have insufficient funds for their daily living also in their business.
  • Thanks for sharing this experience. Your reflections piece was inspiring!
